Creating Beautiful Movements
Prana is the universal “life-force” of all things. It exists separate from and yet an integrated part of all things. The word prana is derived from “pra” - constant, and “an” - movement. Therefore, prana is the constant movement of all things. Yoga is the process of bringing things together, a union, literally to yoke things together.
Volution is the adjective of volute, which is the central axis of a rotating circular form. At the center of our own self is the axis which we are continually circulating around. Based on this circulating movement, we weave and build a practice which is a representation of our own life cycles. As we turn around the center axis of our body, we churn our inner experience, giving rise to personal power.
Prana Volution Yoga is the process of harnessing the dynamic power of the physical universe with the subtle nature of our inner self.
